I have recently been working with the paul Brown HAIR AT REST system which has always been pretty good but difficult to use with the hair boards. I use to be a rusk salon and we absolutely loved rusk anticurl. So, I know that your products are great.  My question to you is can i use the rusk str8 over previously paulbrown hair at rest straitened hair?  Can you send me more information or literature on the product as far as what you can or cant use it on? Also, do you have educators in NH that could give us an insalon class with your product? Let me know.

Lisa,

I don't know why, but people have somehow gotten the misconception that I am a representative or agent of the thermal relaxing industry. Just because someone googles up information about a thermal relaxing line for someone that can't seem to google for themself but instead relies on an advice column-writer as a source of information, that doesn't make the googler an employee of the Rusk haircare empire.

To answer your questions:

I don't know for sure. They recommend not doing TR services over previously highlighted or permed hair, and Paul Brown is technically a straight perm. You should probably visit www.rusk1.com and ask them for yourself, as they probably know more about their own product lines than a non-affiliated cosmetologist would.

And being that I am only a cosmetologically-inclined individual in the Midwest, I can safely say that I don't have educators in New Hampshire, or anywhere else. If you want Rusk-based help, www.rusk1.com probably holds your answers for you there.

Good luck in your endeavors, though. TR sounds like a goldmine, service-dollarwise.
