We really aren't the God-fearing, Jesus-lovin' types around here, but we all seem to enjoy Easter a fair bit.
Allie seems to enjoy the general pageantry involved with the Easter Bunny end of the spectrum, and both mom and dad seem to like it too.
Myself, I like the food best.
I like the ham, the scalloped potatoes, the candy, and the devilled eggs made from leftover Easter eggs. I also like watching all of the seasonal cooking shows on Food TV.
The only bad thing about Easter this year is that I won't be around to enjoy it. Which means, no annual trip to the Sheely's for the Easter buffet potluck bonanza food orgy.
I am intending to go up to Chicago to drop off some stuff at Erin and Wil's, get the keys and garage door opener to my new apartment from my new landlords, and maybe swing by IKEA for some stocking up ahead of the actual move.
Of course, I could probably drive up there early on Saturday morning, and then leave really early on Sunday morning. That way, I could get my stuff done, and enjoy bountiful seasonal culinary goodness.
