At work we have a considerable amount of downtime.
Now, I like to sit around and read magazines as much as the next girl, but I can't possibly do that all day long without dying of boredom.
So, since I have arrived at the salon's balmy shores, I have completely cleaned, straightened up, rearranged, or organized everything at the salon that could possibly be cleaned, straightened up, rearranged, or organized.
You know, when Gloria told me that sometimes people don't bother to do anything around the salon when they have free time, but instead choose to nap, I couldn't believe it. Sleeping at work? GOD forbid.
But since I've managed to set so many new standards in the arenas of cleaning, straightening up, rearranging, and organizing, I find the notion of napping more attractive.
Especially in a slightly chilly environment that is plagued by easy-listening DMX with a heavy rotation of Josh Groban.
