Earlier, HBO Signature was running what I presume to be a musical stageplay of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, featuring the ubiquitous David Hasselhoff in the lead role.
As I watched in mixed horror and fascination, I couldn't help but think that if Christopher Reeve hadn't taken a tumble from that horse oh-so-many years ago, he might have easily been playing the part.
I have heard many times that Mr. Hasselhoff's a star in Germany, but I don't understand the appeal.
I just kept waiting for him to expose his furry chest and run in slow-mo across the stage in red swimming trunks.
And then I quickly changed the channel.
It was a musical stageplay of Jekyll and Hyde, for Christ's sake.
