Would you rather be a time-traveller or a psychic?

I mean, a psychic could just peer into the future and just know it, while the time-traveller would actually get to go there but have to spend life-cycles doing it.

-A perplexed supplicant

<By the by, the reason you get this question, is you apparently are a seer, a time-traveller, or typo-mistake-making-person. And as it's not possible* to think you make mistakes, this humble guest inquires regarding your seemingly supernatural abilities.>

*I suppose it might be possible, but pointing out a supposed error is rude to both parties. It's far more attractive to ...believe.

Perplexed,

Being both would be extremely cool.

If I were psychic and could control it at will, instead of having weirdly prophetic dreams that mean nothing to me, or witnessing sketchy, first-person views of crimes-in-action that are only of use to the police, and were allowed to use my powers for selfish reasons, I suppose it would be nice to just know stuff instead of having to actually do the leg work that future/past travel would entail.

However, it would also be interesting to go back and forward in time to see all of the stuff that I never got to see first hand, and not really lose any time as a result. Although, I would definitely be tempted to try to correct past bad things, like making sure that planes don't crash into tall buildings and that countries aren't put at war as a result, which would probably muck up the present something fierce. Unless, of course, I was MEANT to go back in time and fix the bad things.

So, probably I will have to go with psychic under the previous terms I have mentioned. It's much less time-consuming, and I am indeed lazy.

(And for those playing along at home, I put up some posts ahead of time - yes, it happens, they aren't always after-the-fact - and this person happened to notice, thus prompting the query.)
