Not very many things bust my britches quite like people that inadvertently say very insulting things, yet are too stupid to realize they've done so.
People do this sort of thing a lot at my place of work.
Examples:
The woman who asked, "Why are there three different prices for haircuts? Are the more expensive ones better?"
Actually, no. We all suck equally. You pay more because you're stupid.
I hate people who base things of competency. Overlord Carol's haircuts are more expensive than mine because she's been at the salon longer than I have, and mine are more expensive than Tina's because I've been at the salon longer than she has. It's an experience-as-a-Younkers-salon-employee thing, not who is more competent than who else.
Ken, the beloved junkie of months past, has been doing hair almost as long as Overlord Carol, and yet he was priced on the bottom tier. I'm entirely sure that had he ever shown up to work sober, his haircuts would have been magnificent. Perhaps he is a bad example.
Which leads me to another point, that people seem to think that if you've been doing a long time, that you are some sort of ultra-awesome hairstylist, moreso if you're a gay male (see above regarding that option). Mari the stupendously incompetent did hair for 12+ years, and I wouldn't trust her to wash my hair, much less alter it in any sort of semi-permanent manner. She had plenty of experience, at places like Fantastic Sam's and Great Clips, she just had no talent. We also suspect that she was too stupid to know she sucked, but that's never actually been proven.
