The answer is, that's why I don't watch the debates, because that much yelling, rolling of the eyes, sighing, rude hand gestures and fist-waving is entirely wasted on my television set.
I pretty much don't follow politics beyond knowing evil and stupidity when I see it. Of course, in politics, evil and stupidity are everywhere. It's just a matter of who's more beneficially evil and stupid than the competition.
I learned everything I ever needed to know about Bush from the Rolling Stone expose. Plus, his dad threw up during a State Dinner, which was gross, and his mom, according to Dana, looks like a turkey in pearls.
