What is it with the members of the Today Show never all being on the show at the same time?

Sometimes it is Ann, Al, Katie and Substitute Guy; Ann, Substitute Weather Guy/Willard Scott, Katie and Matt; Substitute News Anchor, Al, Ann Filling in for Katie, and Matt; or even Substitute News Anchor, Al, Katie and Matt.

But never ever, Katie, Matt, Al and Ann.

Is there some sort of morning show blood feud going on that I don't know about?

At this rate, they're going to have to change the lyrics to the morning theme from,

"Katie, Matt, Al and Ann,

first on your TV,

America's first family,

today on NBC!"

to

"Katie, Matt, Al and Ann,

or whoever happens to be filling in

for one of them on whichever particular day,

first on your TV,

America's first ever-growing-lineup of a family,

mostly today on NBC."

Cripes.
