For some reason, we went on a strange caramel apple bender around here. I wanted them a few weeks ago, and we got the stuff to make a batch, which disappeared in a very short amount of time.
The funny part is that without discussing it with each other, all of us independently bought more caramels and apples.
We made a couple more batches, but their appeal has gradually waned around here.
I mean, the last one took at least 4 days to disappear.
In fact, mom made some of the apples into carrot-apple-raisin salad the other night.
Who would ever have thought that one could actually grow tired of caramel apples?
Caramel apple suckers, of course, but actual caramel apples?
Never ever in a million years would that have ever crossed my mind.
