I was finishing up my 'body adornment' project for Metals I, when I decided to ask Ke-ho what he thought of the outcome. I was satisfied with the work I had completed, but figuring that he is the second-in-command of the department, I expected an honest assessment of my work, and perhaps a suggestion of other things I could do to make the project more solid.

Instead, he examined the piece, smiled, handed it back, and asked, "What is your major emphasis?"

I explained that I didn't really have one, preferring to be able in all areas, but a master of none.

He replied, "Maybe you should reconsider Metals. You do nice work."

I told him, "Thank you," and left it at that.
