Good sister that I am, when my mother was unable to find winter accessories for Allie's new Columbia jacket, I took it upon myself to get some for her.
For some reason, the exact shade of her jacket seems to be brand specific, and they were unable to find anything that matches.
I already had a hat that went better with her coat than mine, so I gave it to her, but I found a hat that matches mine exactly -- hers is a navy, white and lime jacket from the Challenger series, and mine is a sage and charcoal Powder Springs parka.
I also scored her a pair of very warm lime fleece mittens, and a matching scarf.
It doesn't hurt that I was able to get them on sale for 30% off, with an additional 20% associate day's discount, and my 25% back of house discount.
The things were damn near free, but I'm still a pretty damn good sister.
