I have become very tired of this whole "China has our spy plane" brouhaha. We were snooping. Somebody screwed up, they lost a plane and a pilot, and we got caught. Now our plane and crew members are being held hostage because China wants an apology and a promise that we won't peep on them while they're showering anymore.
Will someone just apologize for the boo-boo, and promise to stop being a peeping tom already?
It was bad enough when one of our submarines wiped out a fishing boat full of Japanese schoolchildren, because someone wasn't paying attention to where the sub was surfacing.
I'm starting to suspect that our military has some sort of secret mission to wipe out the population of Asia. One by one, or in tiny, inoffensive groups, our military forces will pick off the denizens of the various Asian countries, using methods that are spectacularly embarrassing and likely to come under media scrutiny, casting further aspersions upon the character of our fine nation. Everyone will merely believe that our military is spectacularly incompetent, never realizing a greater plan is in action. All this, and it will only cost the U.S. taxpayers three trillion dollars!
