I would like to take this time to formally apologize to all the residents of the Midwest, most particularly the residents of East-Central Iowa, that have been hit with horribly cold weather and snow flurries today.

I'm sorry.

In a rare and entirely inexplicable burst of efficiency and organization, this past weekend I cleaned house.

I cleared out closets and sorted through miscellaneous pants and socks and sweaters and shirts to get rid of the things I don't wear.

I rearranged the linen closet so that it is not only functional but is also attractive to the eye.

And the part that I must apologize for, I packed up and put away all of my winter-weather gear. The long johns and wool socks and gloves and hats and scarves and mittens and snow boots are all packed away until late Fall.

I did not even think about how this would effect the weather patterns, and for that I am terribly, truly, horribly sorry.

To make amends, I unpacked some gloves and a scarf, and I fully expect it to be warm and pleasant tomorrow.

Yesterday & Tomorrow.
