Impoverished in spirit and in reserves, her character was the only thing about her of any decent consequence, and for even that she suffered in the end*.
*Oh, to suffer from the sort of virtue that would let one be dishonored and destroyed before betraying another.
I haven't those sorts of reserves at all.
