As if to make up for the suckage of the day before, and the fact that the post office refuses to accept any responsibility for leaving my package in what is practically the middle of the sidewalk, or that someone felt compelled to pick up the package that was left in what is practically the middle of the sidewalk and make off with it, because their responsibility ends upon delivery, where ever that delivery appears to be made, forces have conspired to bring me one iota of goodness today.

Opening up my mail, I discovered that once again I don't have to pay my long distance bill, since Working Assets keeps including free long distance coupons in with the bills, which I then return for credit, but that they also gave me another coupon for a free pint of Ben & Jerry's.

And Hollywood Video thanked me for being such a good customer with a coupon for a free video/dvd rental anytime in the next month.

Oh, and since I upgraded to less-sucky auto insurance after I had already paid for that month's sucky insurance, I got a refund check for the unused portion of my former policy.

Plus, the boots I ordered from Spiegel were left by UPS, and not in what is practically the middle of the sidewalk, but instead discretely on my deck behind some plants.

The day looked up, but I still wish I had gotten my cell phone thingamajigs.

Yesterday & Tomorrow.
